U18s crowned Ulster League Champions

City of Armagh RFC U18 boys faced their counterparts from Ballymena RFC in the Ulster League Final, played at the Meadowbank stadium in Magherafelt. In a tense, tight encounter, City of Armagh led throughout the match, only for the Co Antrim side to score in injury time to tie the match at 12-12. According to the competition rules, City of Armagh were crowned champions as they had scored the first try in the match. Try scorers for City of  Armagh were Patrick Laverty and Ryan McCleary with Padraic Carville slotting one conversion. Youth Convenor, Mark Herron congratulated the boys on a terrific performance and thanks the coaching team for their hard work throughout the season. the team is now looking forward ro the Ulster Cup competition and the Nutty Krust tournament in Portadown.
