Club Officers

It is truly an honour and privilege, to be asked to serve the membership of City of Armagh RFC, as your President for the forthcoming 2026 – 2027 season. With the help and support of my fellow Executive Officers, I will do my utmost to represent you, in my prime role as an Ambassador for the Club. I am well aware of the major challenges that this will present, particularly when I look back to my esteemed predecessors. They were instrumental in guiding the Club, though both successful and challenging times, to the respected position we hold today, as one of the premier clubs within Ulster and Irish Rugby.

Having been away from Armagh City for over 30 years, it has been a source of immense pride and joy for me, to be back within the ‘Club Family’ again. We are a welcoming, Cross Community Club, open to all. It is this ethos, of respect, inclusivity, camaraderie and passion for the game, that makes City of Armagh RFC so special. The Club game is in “Rude Health”, being exceptionally robust, strong and full of vitality.

Thanks are due, in no small measure, to the  dedication, effort and commitment of all of our coaching staff and players. We are fortunate to have such fine facilities here at “The Palace”, including our clubhouse, pitches & gym, which we are continuing to improve and develop, to meet the standards and requirements of the modern game.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of our sponsors, for their continued support, across all areas of the Club. Every year becomes more and more challenging and without their generous financial assistance, we would find it very difficult to survive. This support is definitely not taken for granted and is very, very much appreciated.

A ‘Big Thank You’ is also due to all of our volunteers and supporters, including that rare breed, the ‘Red & Black Alickadoo’. You are all an integral part of our ‘Club Family’ and are vital to it’s day to day running, its future success and very existence. I look forward seeing you all, pitch side and in the clubhouse and would encourage you to come along and show your support for all teams, both home and away.
