The City of Armagh Senior Women’s team travelled to the home of Belfast Harlequins for Round 5 of the Championship A league on Sunday.
With the opposition only fielding 12 players there were a few changes to be made to our playing structure. The Quins ladies were quick out of the blocks securing 2 early tries but the Armagh women fought back and had forged ahead by half time with the score 10-15. The wind was playing its part in making the conversions difficult.
The Armagh women continued the second half in the same vein and ran in an additional 2 tries to secure a bonus point win and Quins added a converted try to their tally. Full time score 17-25.
