As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, City of Armagh RFC was delighted to host an international veterans tournament at the Palace Grounds in September.
Overseas visitors included Blackthorn RFC from Philadelphia USA and Los Souquets from France with local interest provided by the Perennials and City of Armagh RABA.
An entertaining afternoon of rugby in between some heavy showers, saw the hosts, City of Armagh come out as tournament winners. The event was also a fund-raiser for the IRFU Charitable Trust
and a pleasing sum was raised.
